During this season of life, for the normal and healthy eye, the expectation is stability in the prescription and also the health of the eye however our eyes can change gradually without us noticing an issue. Many common eye diseases have no early signs or symptoms so regular eye exams are the only way to ensure your eyes are healthy.
In addition to checking your prescription, we will examine the tissues and structures inside the eye looking and screening for eye diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, or macular degeneration only to name a few. The team at Ottewell Eye Care will also share some of the advanced services that are available to our patients, including dry eye clinic, specialty contact lenses, and orthokeratology (reversible vision correction).
