Low Dose Atropine Drops
Atropine is an eye drop that causes the eyes to relax and prevents over focusing to prevent myopia progression. In higher concentrations atropine causes the eyes to dilate, but has minimal to no dilation affects in lower concentrations.
Bifocal Glasses
Bifocals help relax the eyes and prevent over focusing while doing near work to help prevent myopia progression. Certain eyes will work best in glasses to help keep from the eyes changing every year.
Combination Treatment
Depending on the age and myopia severity it may be recommended to do a combo treatment. Drops can be added to any treatment to further help prevent progression of myopia. Each child is given a personalized treatment plan according their risk factors.
